The Gildan Internship Program 2024 offers students the opportunity to participate in stimulating projects and gain valuable experience that will help them transition to the workplace. Our summer internship program will take place from May 13th to August 16th, 2024. As a Legal Intern, you will assist the legal team located in Montreal on a variety of projects undertaken by the members of its team pursuant to the business requests. These projects can include financing, research, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, intellectual property matters, etc. The student may be called to collaborate with legal team members located in other jurisdictions in which Gildan operates.

**_ The role_**
- Assisting Gildan’s legal team during transactions and other commercial products (i.e. financing, transactions or mergers and acquisitions)
- Assist in drafting and reviewing a variety of legal documents, including contracts and NDAs.
- Assist in the management of the company's contract repository, including organizing and maintaining contract databases.

**_ What you bring to the role_**

**Knowledge & Professional** **Experience**
- Completion of the student’s law degree (Civil or Common Law) is a pre-requisite.
- Completion of prior university degree is an asset.

**Attributes**
- Self-motivated, curious, adaptable.
- Prior experience in a legal environment is an asset, but not a pre-requisite.
- This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French.
