Our Cobourg, ON location is recruiting for a Co-op student to work with our Maintenance Reliability team of driven individuals. If you are looking to help our team succeed, be courageous and apply.

**Position Summary**:
The Maintenance Reliability Co-op Student will work directly with the Maintenance team to continually improve plant equipment reliability and bring effectiveness and order to maintenance through the deployment and delivery of effective maintenance techniques that are captured and shared within the facility.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Assists with all aspects of Machine Reliability through continuous improvement.
- Ensures that all PM inspections are accurate and updated regularly.
- Aids in improvements and initiatives to decrease unplanned downtime.
- Partners with the Maintenance Team members to determine reliable solutions to process/machine problems as they arise.
- Effective part of the Maintenance Team (Manager, Supervisor, Facilities, Planner and Reliability)
- Assist in the tracking of work orders to successful completion.
- Participates in the scheduling and execution of maintenance shutdown activities.
- Frequently review the preventive maintenance plan for the site in order to improve frequencies and spares required.
- Works with Operations Supervisor, and Operators to provide direction on how to run equipment optimally
- Captures best practice and set points and share knowledge freely through appropriate documentation such as a and OPL
- Aids the Maintenance Planner and Plant Personnel in updating and maintaining the Maintenance Management System.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety principles applicable to maintenance solutions.
- Experience in manufacturing or continuous improvement an asset.
- Working towards a University Degree in Maintenance or Engineering.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical requirements verbally and in writing
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access and MVP (7i)
