Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. If you have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area, including brewing equipment, countertops, and seating areas
- Follow all food safety guidelines when handling and preparing food items
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries, as needed
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems for processing transactions
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and procedures
- Strong cash handling skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Basic math skills for calculating orders and handling cash

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour
