**Overview**: Join our team as a Barista at our bustling cafe where you will be the face of our establishment, creating and serving delicious beverages to our valued customers. **Responsibilities**: - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently - Operate espresso machines and other equipment to craft quality drinks - Maintain a clean and organized workspace - Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system - Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly - Uphold food safety standards in food preparation and storage - Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed **Requirements**: - Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the food industry - Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements - Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations - Familiarity with POS systems for order processing - Proficiency in cash handling procedures - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Experience in food handling or food service is a plus Join our team today and be part of a dynamic environment where your passion for coffee and exceptional service will shine
