**About the Opportunity**

RAM Elevators & Lifts Inc. is an industry-leading Edmonton-based manufacturer of residential and commercial elevators and accessibility lifts. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a **Quality Control Coordinator Coordinator**

**About the role**

The Quality Control Coordinator ensures all products meet and/or exceed customer specifications and RAM’s internal quality standards. The incumbent will be responsible for implementation of quality initiatives, training, process improvement, and auditing. This individual must be able to work under mínimal supervision while performing efficiently in their role. Attention to detail and taking pride in one's work are vital to the success of this role.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and conduct quality control initiatives
- Selects appropriate inspection processes for different areas of production
- Works with co-workers to create and qualify robust inspection processes
- Perform first off inspections, receiving inspection, and in production inspection
- Reviews all documentation for completeness
- Stencils, stamps and signs all quality approved product
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, and completion of Internal Audits
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of all inspection activities
- Communicates inspection issues in manufacturing processes to the Director of Production
- Coordinate the development and review of quality control work instructions, policies, processes and procedures
- Consolidate internal audit results and write final audit reports.
- Suggest best practices in inspection techniques.
- Perform quality checks and tests
- Analyzing statistical data as and when required
- Reporting all the quality control tests in comprehensible reports
- Resolving any issues and discrepancies
- Complying with the rules and regulations of the company
- Conducting quality training sessions and workshops if required
- Maintains clean work area

**Qualifications**
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good knowledge and experience in Quality Management System, Six Sigma or similar Quality measurement practices.
- Superior detail orientation: values accuracy and has high standards around quality of work.
- Must be able to write clear and concise audit reports with a high level of accuracy
- Working knowledge of measuring equipment, blueprints, and technical information.
- Must be able to write, speak and communicate to engage employees, management, and others in a productive and credible manner.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required

**Working Conditions**
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent maybe be required to lift weights
- The noise level inthe shop area can be loud. The temperature in the work environment is not regulated.

**Physical Requirements**
- Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as inspections for coat quality, colour variation, consistency.
- The incumbent is required to stand for extended periods of time and will require good physical attributes for lifting and handling of heavy materials.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
