Position Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Carleton Place, Ontario

Duration: Full time

Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 1 Hour lunch, Monday to Friday

Overview

Looking to break into the world of administration and accounting? Then we have the job for you Carleton Place Ford is looking for an accounts payable clerk to assist in our quickly growing location. If you’re a detail oriented, organized, team player we would love to hear from you

**Qualifications**:

- Familiar with basic accounting practices and general book keeping procedures
- Experienced with MS Office and Google Drive specifically Excel and Google Sheets
- Dealership is preferred but not required

**Responsibilities**:

- Process manual cheques such as; lien payouts, purchases, reimbursements, etc.
- Prepare stock number and cheque for all used vehicle purchases
- Review, balance and post daily cash drawer
- Code and enter accounts payable with a monthly cheque run
- Reconcile accounts payable and corporate visa statements
- Maintain deal and audit folders
- Post wholesale and dealer trade deals into the general ledger
- Other general office duties such as supply ordering and filing
- Ensure compliance with all government, OMVIC, and manufacturer regulations

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
