**Purpose**:
Reporting to the Reliability Team Leader, the Stationary Reliability Technician is responsible for the site wide lubrication and vibration analysis program management. Using their expertise and knowledge, this role also assesses equipment and makes recommendations for safe and proper maintenance of all equipment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Site-wide lubrication management
- Collaborate with lubricant and equipment suppliers for equipment requirements and cross referencing
- Training end users in proper procedures
- Manage oil analysis program, including work identification
- Predictive diagnostic analysis, evaluation, and recommendation
- Perform RCFA’s for all mechanical areas
- Develop detailed work procedures to ensure reliability of assets and process
- Provide guidance in the use of precision technologies (laser alignment, oil analysis, thermography, vibration analysis)
- Site-wide vibration analysis program management
- Collect vibration data for analysis
- Maintain online vibration collection hardware
- Collaborate with vibration analysis service provider
- Perform work identification based on data analysis
- Provide on-site assistance and training for SAP users
- Provide technical assistance for all maintenance groups in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and new equipment acquisitions. This extends to collaborations with OEMs
- Work with planning group to plan and execute larger maintenance jobs involving off-site vendors and service providers
- Design consultation
- Personnel management. ie. Completing travel arrangements and ensuring training requirements are met.
- On-site supervision and project management to ensure timelines and job standards are met safely
**Requirements**:
- Certified Journeyperson in good standing, or completed secondary education with diploma or degree in engineering or technical field
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a mining environment: mobile equipment, ore processing crushing, grinding, gravity concentration, dewatering, leach/CIP, stripping, conveying and refining
- Minimum level 1 certification in at least one of the following or willing to attain:
- Vibration Analysis
- Infrared Analysis
- Machine Lubrication
- Ultrasonics
- Strong desktop computer literacy and learning ability including but not limited to MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of MS Project, MS OneNote, MS Visio, AutoCAD
- Skilled in SAP for maintenance and planning
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to working in a safe, socially-responsible manner
- Self-directed team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Highly adaptable to changing work environments both surface and underground
**Working Conditions**:
**The schedule for this position is 14 days on, 14 days off, working 12-hour days**
