Ottawa, Canada Dalhousie Parents' Day Care Centre Full time

Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and for young children ages 0-18 months
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain a clean and organized environment
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, must be able to lift 50 pounds

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare centre
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations is a plus

**Salary**: $23.31-$25.32 per hour
