**Geoscape Contracting** is a pioneer in the green industry specializing in landscape construction for many large commercial and urban developers, with projects spanning across the GTA. We dedicate ourselves to all aspects of commercial landscaping, including but not limited to; softscaping, hardscaping, grading, retaining walls, plant installation, sodding, terraseeding, park construction and trucking.

**Human Resources Administrator**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintains safety as being the number 1 priority in all daily activities
- Conduct all business in a professional and timely fashion, ensuring Geoscape’s Core Values are being represented to the highest standards
- Serve as initial contact for all HR related inquiries and communicate company policies, procedures and legislation as needed
- Assist with ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing policies for applicable legislation that are related to human resources
- Assist with all aspects of recruitment:

- Create job descriptions
- Post jobs ads
- Attend annual job fairs
- Screen applicants who have successfully completed the assessments
- Conduct phone interviews
- Schedule interviews
- Conduct reference checks
- Job offers
- Prepare new employee orientation packages
- Coordinate and track new employee on-boarding
- Track cost of uniform items distributed amongst employees and submit allowance overages to Office Manager when required
- Coordinate annual performance review schedule and ensure reviews are filled out by the appropriate parties
- Maintain employee files (digital & hard copies)
- Communicate with supervisors to track schedules to record attendance, lates, early departures, vacation time/entitlements, sick days, leaves of absence etc.
- Review timesheets and assist with coordinating payroll submission every Monday of pay week and submit to Office Manager
- Document all investigated and resolved employee grievances
- Assist with WSIB claims, act as a company contact for the WSIB and coordinate/track return to work for injured employees
- Publish Geoscape’s monthly newsletter ‘The GeoPrint’ and post other companywide communication on employee social media forum
- Assist with social media
- Assist management with company projects/events and rolling out new procedures and policies
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Other admin duties

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of HR experience in a similar role;
- Ceridian Dayforce experience is preferred;
- A college degree/diploma/certificate in Human Resources is required;
- CHRP certificate or working toward one is preferred;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skill level required;
- Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality in all scenarios;
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, practice professionalism in all scenarios, be well organized and be capable of handling a busy workload and competing deadlines.

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
