**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- examine and test for defects;
- give, as a specialist, his opinion on problems and deficiencies;
- make recommendations for policy improvement;
- collect and analyze data concerning the problems encountered to determine their causes;
- inspect fixtures to ensure compliance with operating standards;
- train new employees on our quality rules;
- train during corrective actions;
- enforce product specifications on all lines;
- follow corrective actions in the departments involved;
- perform weekly inspections and monitor corrective actions;
- ensure the sanitation and general hygiene of the premises;
- support and document R&D;
- define the procedures, test methods and means of testing concerning the electrical equipment, after a complete study of the specifications;
- carry out measurements, controls and tune up the equipment;
- collaborate with the laboratory, on request, in certain certification files;
- support quality assurance activities, be on the lookout for practices in the field and, if necessary, make suggestions for improvement to procedures in place;
- perform any other related task relevant to the performance of his work.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- hold a technical DEC or AEC in electricity, electronics or a related field and / or a DEP specializing in electricity or electronics combined with relevant experience;
- have between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in similar tasks;
- have a good knowledge of the luminaire and UL certification standards;
- be bilingual, oral and written, and communicate effectively;
- mastering the main software of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- be autonomous, dynamic, methodical and conscientious.
