**What you will do**:

- Responsible for supplier negotiations, purchases, and contract development involved in the procurement of all raw materials and shop supplies.
- Review planning parameters, open work and purchase orders to ensure constant supply of materials while reducing overall inventory levels.
- Maintain and keep accurate all material & inventory data inputs in ERP system.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, identifies & resolves cycle count issues,
- Organize & implement annual physical inventory, identifying & resolving variances.
- Participates in continuous improvement processes as appropriate to support company goals & profitability.
- Identify and implement opportunities for VMI and Kanban as appropriate.
- Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepares market analysis reports.
- Stay current with new materials & technologies relevant to industry, identifying and recommending opportunities to improve quality, provide competitive differentiation, and improve profitability.
- Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable law that include safety, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Assists with special projects as required

**What we need**:

- Post Secondary diploma or degree in related field
- Certified Purchasing Professional designation an asset
- 5-7 years related experience
- ERP Experience, Epicor preferred
- Previous buying experience in the sign industry preferred, strong negotiation skills
- Experience with manufacturing processes and machinery, aluminum/steel fabrication and quality systems
- Strong negotiation skills
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
