Langley, Canada WAGNER HILLS FARM SOCIETY Full time

This Full-Time role is working alongside our Executive Director in collaboration to raise funds for the Operation and Capital Campaigns.
- Responsibilities and Duties:

- Strategize and execute the fund-raising strategies with the Executive Director (ED) and Director of Development (DOD).
- Overseeing schedule for the Executive Director.
- Creates briefings for each donor meeting.
- Developing strategy for follow up, communications, and acquiring donor gifts.
- Prospecting new donor relationships.
- Create presentations and materials in collaboration with the ED and DOD for fundraising events, meetings, and representation.
- Ensure donor relationships and interactions are logged and followed up in the CRM.
- Plan and execute connections with local churches.
- Cultivates and maintains relationships with key stakeholders on the Capital Project.
- Track donations and pledges for each donor contributing to fundraising objectives.
- Working with the social media manager on posts, news releases/updates, and any advertising specifically for the Capital Project.
- Liaise with the Owner’s Rep to understand what is needed, to ensure enough funds are being raised to provide the correct cashflow needed for construction.
- Follow through on requirements from foundations, and current donors to provide appropriate appreciation in follow up such as gifts, calls, cards, etc.
- Ensure invoices are signed by the ED and cheques are cut in a timely manner for vendors pertaining to the Capital Project campaign fees.
- Provide Capital Project campaign updates to the board and be prepared to present the information when needed.

**Qualifications**
- 2 years’ experience in a fundraising role or capacity required.
- Attention to detail and organization skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft office and CRM reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business, communications, marketing, or nonprofit management an asset.
- An ability to be creative and think outside of the box.
- Strong Communication skills required. An ability to build relationships and be able to articulate Wagner Hills mission and explain how donations will make an impact.
- This role will require some travel and weekend hours.
