Nickerson Roberts Holinski & Mercer is seeking a full-time Commercial/Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team in a key role supporting the Firm in residential and commercial purchase, sale, financing, and lending transactions.

**Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written);
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and handle sensitive information and circumstances tactfully;
- Ability to work independently and without supervision, and to take initiative;
- Critical thinker with an ability to research and problem solve;
- Reliability and a strong attendance record;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel);
- Proficiency with Prolegis is an asset.

Responsibilities will include:

- Regular contact with clients to handle new client intakes, collect and relay information and updates, follow up, etc.;
- Organization of files and client materials, including sending, receiving, and preparation of all necessary documents;
- Preparing and drafting documents, including purchase documents, sale documents, financing documents, and lender’s materials;
- Conducting all necessary searches;
- Preparing client accounts; and
- Managing files from inception to conclusion

Education and Qualifications:

- Related post-secondary training (for example, legal assistant or office administration)
- At least 2 years of experience as a commercial/conveyancing paralegal is required. Salary will be competitive and determined based on level of experience.
- A covering letter which indicates your current employment status, your salary expectations, and your availability for an interview;
- A resume which outlines how your skills, qualifications, and experience will meet the requirements of the position; and
- At least 2 references available, with contact information to be provided upon request during the interview process.
