**Business Intelligence Analyst**

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst. In this BI Analyst role, you report directly to the VP, Business Intelligence, and work to support the BI Team at Aegis Brands Inc. (“Aegis”). Aegis is a consolidator of brands in the food & beverage space with the mission to allow for an independent entrepreneurial spirit while providing shared services that encourage unlimited growth. Aegis owns and operates St. Louis Bar & Grill as part of a portfolio of brands that also includes Bridgehead®, which operates within the specialty coffee space.

**The Opportunity**

As a Business intelligence Analyst, you are an integral part of our Aegis Brands Team who provides analysis, insights, and decision-making to support all departments within our Brands to improve profitability. You are an individual that has a passion for technology and will drive and shape efficiency in daily operations. You understand large database sets, tell a story with data, and build easy-to-read dashboards to help drive successful operations. You possess exceptional written and communication skills and can multitask multiple projects at the same time. You are able to work independently and as a part of a team in a busy work environment.

**In this role you will**:

- Build Database Structures.
- Pull Data from multiple vendors.
- Create automation of data retrievals.
- Provide forecasting and analysis for proposed menu changes.
- Provide forecasting for business overall needs.
- Provide insights into business trends.
- Assist operations team with annual operating budgets for their locations.
- Menu mix & cost of goods reporting.
- Analysis of P&Ls for all locations and making recommendations for improving profitability.
- Ad hoc analysis as requested by department heads.
- Provide training and support to the operations team on new dashboards.
- Work with Operations location sales insights.
- Assist the marketing department with the development of chain-wide promotions to ensure alignment. with profitability and cost of goods objectives.
- Provide weekly reporting of the campaign’s results.
- Provide pre and post-analysis on chain-wide marketing campaigns; make recommendations for improvement.
- Recommend and produce new reports not previously listed.

**You Bring**:

- A strength in analytical problem-solving.
- An ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A vigour when executing multiple projects at a time.
- Advanced understanding of MS Excel - this is a must
- A strong aptitude in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with large data sets.
- Proven experience programming and Improving Power BI Dashboards.
- Superior level of detail in ensuring the database is accurate at all times.
- An ability to provide recommendations for improvement to systems.
- Experience in Demographic and Segmentation Analysis.
- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
