We are currently looking for a landscape horticulturalist/ gardener to add to our team for this upcoming season. Depending on qualifications, employees can expect to earn between $20-28/hr with room to grow. Daily responsibilities will be to work with others or independently to maintain residential and commercial garden spaces, meet with clients on new and existing garden spaces, design and build new gardens. A knowledge of plants, pruning and attention to detail are all assets that we are looking for in qualified individuals.

**Qualifications**
- A certificate diploma or degree in Horticulture or Certified Landscape Horticulturist or currently enrolled in horticulture school program.

**Duties and Job Requirements**
- A working knowledge and demonstrated experience in basic maintenance and preparation of garden flower and shrub beds.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate daily activities for garden maintenance and installations. Experience and able to evaluate employee performance and coach employees when necessary.
- Be able to operate and instruct others in the safe use of power equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, rototillers, lawn mowers and trimmers.
- Knowledge of and able to identify methods of treatment of pests and disease in the landscape.
- Ability to lift at least 20kg and work outside in all weather conditions.

Full-time hours: 35-40 per week

**Job Types**: Full-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Benefits package available after 8 months of work.
