A typical day in this role might include:

- Executing a recruitment strategy that is aligned with corporate strategic goals and supports HR initiatives.
- Talent benchmarking, talent assessment, interviewing, and creative sourcing practices
- Staying current on trends in the industry and marketplace
- Identifying future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing with the maintenance of a talent pool
- Specialized or competitive intelligence and research regarding talent development and retention
- Proactively building relationships with key talent in specific areas of expertise
- Working closely with the People & Values team to understand changes in talent management, succession planning, and performance management needs that will impact recruiting needs
- Building strong relationships with and partnering with business leaders, being consultative throughout the recruitment process including recommendations on job descriptions, being knowledgeable about business-specific needs to recruit top talent.
- Executing recruitment process and lifecycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers.
- Ownership of Co-op, internship, university recruiting strategies and programs, and career fairs
- Leading by example through following, setting, or sharing recruiting best practices
- Owning our internal referral program success
- Tracking and reporting relevant metrics to promote data-driven decision making for current and future hiring needs

Do these statements describe you?
- 10+ years high volume recruiting experience, with full-cycle recruitment, ideally within a Marketing Agency, and recruitment industry with a fast-paced environment experience.
- International talent acquisition experience is an asset
- Successful experience recruiting for technical positions (i.e., developers, data scientists, etc.)
- Comprehensive knowledge of international job markets, including salary and industry trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related, relevant field
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiation tactics
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability and desire to be flexible in working in our Mississauga head office, Toronto, and remote as required
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills including strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Action-oriented and results-driven
- Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing tactics
- Strong sourcing skills
