Full time and part time positions available.

Responsible for all general duties as directed by the department manager. The deli clerk must have a strong commitment to customer service, working within a team, with an ability to prepare fresh meals quickly and accurately.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Offer a greeting to every customer you come into contact with
- Offer assistance to any customer looking as if they need help
- Maintaining all standards for quality, freshness, sanitation and food safety
- Ability to sell products by providing customers with information needed to make buying decisions
- Filling, maintaining and rotating products and displays
- Preparing special orders and party trays
- Operating meat and cheese slicers, oven, microwave, cutting tools, scales and other deli equipment
- Accurately stocking shelves, facing up stock and managing signage where required
- Additional tasks and duties as required or requested by supervisor

**Work Conditions**:
Duties are performed primarily in the Deli department. Work includes walking, standing for prolonged periods and lifting deli products weighing up to 50 pounds. Duties also include frequent interaction with customers and coworkers.

1 year food service experience required, food safe certificate a bonus
