Barrie, Canada Remcan Projects LP - Local Full time

**REMCAN Projects LP** is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their Operations team on the Eastern region based out of REMCAN’s Barrie, ON office / shop complex.

The Project Manager reports to the General Manager of Projects or their designate. The Project Manager provides assistance and support on a variety of projects across REMCAN’s system. Each project’s responsibilities will vary however the position is responsible for individual project documentation, coordination of Safety related plans and processes and the delivery of equipment, material, and supplies.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES**:

- Manage all duties related to project and project site administration including the preparation and filing of all documents related to site administration, maintenance files of project, and review of submitted timesheets
- Reporting and tracking of project schedule, production information and equipment utilization
- Coordinate equipment and material / supply delivery to the project job site, by working with Supply Management and Field Operations escalating any discrepancies or variances
- Work closely with Safety team to ensure adherence to all site-specific rules and regulations as well as REMCAN safety rules, processes, and procedures - Do it right Do it safe
- Performs other related administrative or project-based duties as assigned
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively with a team and external stakeholders

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Graduation from a recognized post-secondary engineering or technical program in a related field would be an asset however experience in rail related projects would be considered
- EIT is a requirement and there are opportunities for professional development in field
- Exceptional analytical, planning, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work successfully in a team environment in meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture
- Ability to respond to urgent field related issues outside of regular business hours, field work and travel will make up approximately 40% of your assigned work week
