**Project Manager**

**Temporary Sub-Contractor - Up to 15 hours per week**

**The Contract** Reporting to the Director of Finance/Property, the incumbent contributes to the successful implementation of infrastructure and other miscellaneous projects associated with Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions. The Project Manager closely oversees the project scope, schedule and budget and provides updates on a regular basis. This position creates and manages project records in accordance with department procedures and coordinates the activities of external consultants. The Project Manager leads communications throughout the projects with stakeholders.

The incumbent also will play a key role in ensuring that all project milestones, deliverables, and budgetary requirements are met.

**Qualifications**
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be a valuable asset.
- Proven experience in project management will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Experience overseeing a construction project.
- Budget management experience.
- Works well under pressure; adaptable, flexible and responsive to fast paced, changing environment.
- Ability to build relationships with senior management, all levels of staff and vendors.
- Demonstrated analytical and planning experience.
- Experience dealing with strict timelines/deadlines.
- Demonstrated business analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated organization and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written Communication.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle is required.

**Compensation** To be negotiated but will fall within a range of $38 - $50 / hour based on experience.
