Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Completion of a Business Administration or Accounting Diploma or Certificate. A combination of related education, training and experience in real estate and accounting may be considered.
- Direct experience with account reconciliations.
- Direct experience in preparing budgets.
- Ability to maintain accuracy with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage conflicting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Effective verbal communication skills to clearly and professionally communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

**Desired**:

- Experience working with SAP or other real estate accounting software.
- Direct experience in a commercial/corporate property accounting.

**Duties**:
The Real Estate Financial Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day coordination and administration of the rental component of the real estate portfolio. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all rental payments of the leased portfolio are accurately captured and updated in SAP to ensure best value of contract negotiated and ensure timely payment of monthly rent, tracking of inducements, parking, and operating costs. The Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the managing of the Accommodation Cost Recovery System (ACRS) including managing the quarterly recovery and revenue charges in the leased and owned properties. The role is critical to ensure that the portfolio information is accurate and updated at all times, and is crucial to ensuring that occupancy details are being tracked and reported accurately.
