**Position Description**:
Reporting to the Senior Manager (Supply Chain Operations), the Inventory Planner will play a critical role in developing effective inventory strategies for SickKids. The Inventory Planner will proactively liaison between Logistics, Supply Chain Systems, Supply Chain Procurement, Supply Chain IT, and Clinical Department partners to optimize and achieve operational efficiencies for supply requirements. The Inventory Planner will make projections and recommendations for demand requirement-forecasting and manage inventory to minimize stock out risk and assure fill rates are met.

- Be a part of the revolutionary Data Analytics techniques implemented in Supply Chain that is evolving exponentially and embedded in the daily Supply Chain Operations improvement initiatives to provide efficient and effective solutions for every partner.

**Here’s What You’ll Get to Do**:
**Warehouse and Inventory Management**:

- Responsible for end-to-end Onsite and Offsite warehouse management to service SickKids inventory needs through peaks & valleys.
- Oversee daily operations of Cardinal’s JIT (Just-In-Time) Stockless management program to SickKids’ Onsite stores.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Partners and Clinical business units to communicate needs of business and proactively manage backorder scenarios.
- Work closely with vendors to provide necessary inventory reporting and coordinate inventory flow-through as required.
- Work with various partners on new product needs, product standardization and implementation.
- Work closely with the Logistics Supervisor and Logistics team to ensure fulfillment of orders per requirement.
- Plan and forecast inventory requirements using estimation techniques based on historical data, market conditions and current inventory levels.

**Analytics**:

- Perform demand planning by reviewing stock to usage ratios and responding to changing usage trends to ensure optimized par levels that meets the ongoing demands.
- Create analysis of usage records and customer demand to mitigate stockouts and optimize stores inventory.
- Conduct data analysis to evaluate and identify improvement needs and develop/ implement improvement initiatives for efficient and effective Logistic operations.

**Finance and Audits**:

- Plan and lead the Periodic and year-end inventory management.
- Provide Support in Managing the Supply Chain Pandemic Management Program.
- Assist Finance Department with Audits, Inventory Control & Reconciliations for Inventory counts.

**Projects**:

- Develop and coordinate the Supply Chain Warehouse Quality Management program through continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring measurable/reportable and sustainable results, identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess, evaluate, and track them for regular reporting.
- Develop improvements initiatives to continuously monitor, manage and minimize obsolescence and ensure low variance on the physical and system stock counts.
- Coordinate with relevant partners (Internal and External) to scope out, design and plan Supply Chain Operations projects pertaining to warehouse management (Onsite and Offsite).
