We are a small company consisting of 10+ employees. We are looking for someone who can keep up with a fast paced environment, as well as adapt to other work duties as they arise during busy season. Being a local sign shop in Leduc, Alberta we see a lot of diverse projects, as well as high volume orders, and have a vast amount of clients you will need to familiarize yourself with. We are a small company with a lot of heart, so a “team player” attitude is a must. We offer the best products, and the fastest turn around times, which makes for a fast paced and fun environment to work in.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **General Office**_
- Managing telephones and directing calls as needed
- Greet visitors and returning customers, assess their needs, manage key drop-off, and direct them to the appropriate person when needed
- Ordering and maintaining office, shop & break room supplies
- Manage mail & courier orders in a timely manner
- Manage paper and electronic filing systems
- Perform all other general administrative duties as required
- Willingness to adapt and grow with the company is an asset
- **Accounting**_
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge and familiarity with QuickBooks Online is required
- Day-to-day accounting, banking, and managing/maintaining accounts payable and receivable
- Proficient in preparing, sending and monitoring invoices
- Process various types of payments for Debit, credit, and cheques and creating reports of submissions and balances
- Perform related duties as required
- **Human Resources**_
- Assist in maintenance of employee files and records, both manually and electronically
- Support payroll function by maintaining time and attendance system and related activities.
- Distributing bi-weekly payroll stubs correctly to employees

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related discipline and/or 2 years of administrative experience in a small office environment (an asset, but not required)
- Knowledge of the Sign & Graphics industry is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - business correspondence
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and problem-solve, with a high level of professionalism, customer relations and people skills
- Ability to work with discretion and confidentiality when working with sensitive information

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
