Collaborative Pianist

**Position Title**: Collaborative Pianist

**Term**: September 1, 2023 - April 30, 2024 (casual, part-time, hourly-paid position)

**Proposed pay rate**: $50 per hour

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Weekly individual coaching and lessons with singers
- Accompanying weekly studio classes
- Accompanying voice juries in December and April
- Opera repetiteur staging/performances
- Choir pianist
- Accompanying Wednesday noon hour performances and other ad hoc performances.

**Position Requirements**

Master’s degree in collaborative piano or piano performance and two years of experience as a collaborative pianist in paid professional or postsecondary academic settings. Collegial, energized, self-starter with excellent pianistic skills, ability to sight-read or quick-study at a high level, significant experience collaborating and coaching singers, language skills for coaching singers would be an asset.
