**_RAPS is Seeking a Part-Time Community Rehabilitation Worker for an Individual with Autism (S30) _**

**_Location: _**_Northeast Edmonton (Schonsee)_

**_Days: _**_Monday-Friday (4 hours per day)_

**_Hours: _**_20 Hours/week_

**_Rate of Pay: $21.97/Hour _**

**_Job Description: _**_Duties include but are not limited to promoting and assisting with independent life skills (personal hygiene, chores, laundry, grocery shopping), plan activities and prepare necessary materials explore inclusive opportunities within the community (volunteer & employment), assist with expressive communication (verbal and written), help to develop/maintain friendships with peers, plan indoor/outdoor activities, supervision, and companionship._

**_Qualifications and Other Requirements: _**_Recent criminal record check including the vulnerable sector, Community Support Worker Certificate and/or 2 years of direct support experience with developmental disabilities, _valid driver’s license and vehicle ($2 million insurance), current first aid & CPR (or willing to obtain shortly after hire) be a non-smoker, and be fully vaccinated against covid-19. Must be able to communicate in various ways including use of iPad, visual scheduling, verbal communication and basic sign language to support communication skills. Must be willing to plan activities and prepare materials **Preference given to those with a background in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Social Work graduate. **_
