**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**You will be a part of the finance team in the Real Estate Asset Management Group responsible for the following activities**:

- **Process corporate level payables/invoices**:

- **Coordinate/file legal documents/records for the legal entities**:

- **Assist in the maintenance of accounting records**:

- **Monthly uploading of financial information from property managers to accounting software**:

- **Electronic receipt and filing of monthly reports from property managers**:

- **Prepare wire transfers and EFT cash payments as directed**:

- **File monthly GST/HST/PST returns and assist in the bank reconciliation process**
- **Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or payments environment**:

- **Accounting or finance course desirable**:

- **Minimum - high school diploma**:

- **Strong computer skills Microsoft excel.**
- **Exposure to an accounting software, Yardi reporting platform competency preferred**
- **Effective communication skills**:

- **Organized, detail-oriented and purposeful**:

- **Ability to work independently and contribute a team environment with deadlines**

**Monday-Friday, standard business hours**

**Hybrid = 3 days a week in the office minimum**
