**Summary**

This is a new position, Human Resource Generalist and Operations Manager.

The HR Generalist is a consultative role supporting the Human Resources requirements of the agency including, recruitment and retention, DIGIBOT HR administration, training, onboarding, legislation compliance, policy development, Health and Safety and HR metrics and analytics.

This position is often a main point of contact for policy guidance, benefits information and general questions.

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facilities, ensuring compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act, City of Ottawa Public Health regulations, Health & Safety and all other mandatory legislative regulatory requirements.

The manager must be able to lead with confidence. They must also be able to inspire and motivate employees, solve disagreements, and promote the company’s culture and values. Needs to maintain positive relationships with both upper management and other employees, as they effectively function as a liaison between the two.

The Human Resource/Operations Manager directly supervises the janitorial staff member.

**Salary**: $58,000.00-$68,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 3 years (preferred)
