**Responsibilities**:
Social and Environmental leadership is a central pillar of Canada Post's business transformation strategy. Implementing initiatives to demonstrate our social and environmental leadership will support the success of the organization in building a Stronger Canada - Delivered.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Researching and reporting on emerging trends in ESG and Corporate Sustainability.
- Consolidating, analyzing, and interpreting data sets.
- Conducting benchmarking reviews on a variety of ESG topics to understand our position against our competitors and peers.
- Working with student peers from other lines of business on a pre-assigned problem statement related to sustainability at Canada Post.

This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a corporate setting and provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program with preference given to those registered in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, science, business, and/or finance.

Specific education and year of study may be required depending on the student role.

**Experience**

Students should have a basic understanding of emissions accounting, climate change and other environmental business impacts.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Adaptable: ability to work effectively in different situations and/or with different people
- Excellent written / verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to exercise sound judgment
- Various technical skills based on business area requirements
- Various linguistic profiles dependent on position

**Eligibility**

To be eligible for the Summer Student Employment program, you must meet the following criteria:

- Study in one of the Corporation’s areas of business mentioned above
- Have completed your first year of University, College or Cégep, and
- Be enrolled for the following year
