The Purchasing Administrative Assistant is responsible for document handling, system updating, order tracking and other procurement related tasks that support the goals and objectives of the purchasing department.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand and utilize company ERP system
- Update and maintain order and vendor information to retain data integrity
- Ensure documents are distributed to required departments
- Review and process shipment packing slips
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Support the Purchasing Team with reports, meeting minutes and data entry
- Work cross-functionally within the organization
- To perform other functions as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma
- Related job experience in an office setting

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

- Experience using ERP/MRP systems an asset but not required.

Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (core hours 8:00am - 4:30pm)
