Dealership Receptionist

One of our locations is looking for a Part Time Receptionist to support the sales team on evenings and Saturdays. This position is responsible for answering phones, greeting customers, and other administrative functions. The Receptionist will be passionate about creating a professional relationship with the customer with the objective to create Brand loyalty.
As the receptionist you are an excellent multi-tasker: able to answer phones promptly and after the phone call, return to the prior task. Your best features include being organized and reliable and continuously working on creating a welcoming environment for customers. You are a team player and ensure the appropriate employees are notified when a customer enters the dealership, as well as ensure all administrative procedures are always followed appropriately.
You are able to work under pressure and keep a calm and positive body language to reassure customers.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Answers phone calls and directs the caller to the appropriate employee or department. If a message needs to be taken, accurately records message(s) and information.
- Greets all customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner; listens to the customer needs and takes appropriate action in a timely manner.
- Consistently displays a pleasant and friendly disposition at all times.
- Keeps detailed records of all interactions with customers.
- Handles all customer queries and concerns with a genuine intent to solve their problem in a timely manner.
- Ensures all administrative duties assigned are accurately completed in a timely manner.
- Files all paperwork that needs to be filed.
- Acts as a champion for delivering service excellence 100% of the time.
- Maintains the cleanliness of personal and team workspaces.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism in body language, etiquette and appearance.
**Minimum Qualifications and Skills**
- High School Diploma (or equivalent), or working towards a High School Diploma.
- Experience in customer service or dealership.
- Excellent customer service skills including superb telephone demeanour and active listen skills.
- Team oriented and enjoys working with others toward a common goal.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour.
- Proven ability to be organized and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
- Flexible and open to change; able to take on special tasks as needed.
- Able to manage customer complaints and to solve difficult problems.
**Hours**
- Evenings and Saturdays, no Sundays
