As part of the Design Department, the ERP Data Specialist is responsible for the upload and maintenance of ERP product data, ensuring it is systemized and accurate. The ERP Data Specialist primary role will be entering, maintaining, and guaranteeing the accuracy of our ERP master data, such as Bill of Materials (BOMs), item information, and routings, and assuring this information accurately reflects the material and processes in our facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Upload and maintenance of ERP product data (Item Masters, BOM’s and Product Configurations, etc.) and assure the accuracy of all changes
- Continuously assess product data through usage of exception reports to ensure ERP data quality and integrity - root causing any issues and communicating with all relevant departments
- Ensure all tools are functional and take point in developing improved tools where needed
- Participate in the change order process and new product introduction, taking responsibility for ERP related activities
- Provide input and guidance to the other departments on the most efficient ways to structure change requests as they relate to the release and maintenance of data in the ERP system
- Participate in continuous cycle counting and yearly inventory audits with the goal of fully reporting discrepancies
- Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors
- Generate and report on inventory control metrics including stockouts and cycle count accuracy
- Work with several departments to set up, monitor, and guide material flow
- Investigate inventory discrepancies (physical vs. system/daily)
- Purchase requisitions for items which require spot buy
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedure
- Perform any other duties that may be superficially or generally assigned

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Maintains standards of confidentiality with respect to private information
- Prioritize assignments according to deadlines
- Ensure a positive and professional attitude while working with your peers
- Available to work additional hours when required

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- Minimum College Education in Engineering Technology or related field
- Minimum 2 - 5 years ERP Data experience
- Experience with ERP master data in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of Solidworks and PDM work flow
- Understanding of the change order process
- Understanding of warehouse and manufacturing operations
- Ability to perform cycle counts in a functioning warehouse
- Attention to detail in data entry and in physical observation
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
- Ability to learn reporting and transactions in various on premise and cloud-based business systems (ERP, iQMS, CRM, etc.)
- Experience with DelimiaWorks ERP systems and Solidworks Add-in using the import wizard
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
- Strong attention to detail with extensive priority management and organizational skills
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logístical problems that arise
- Ability to work independently and closely follow directions
- Strong cognitive skills, (listening, analyzing and interpreting data)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- High level of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to identify opportunities, multitask and manage time effectively

**Effort**:

- Frequent periods of mental and visual concentration during computer work and analyses
- Frequent interruptions which requires the ability to juggle several priorities and refocus quickly
- Involves some walking throughout plant
- Volume of work is steady with periods of high demand and time pressures

**Working Conditions**:

- Most work is carried out in a typical business office with occasional visits to the shop floor which requires wearing personal protective equipment
- Exposure to elements such as dust, temperature and noise during time spent on shop floor
