Due to our target market of new construction custom higher end homes and cottages, this position will require regular travel and being away from home during the week. We currently have projects running or in the pipeline in the Muskokas, Kawarthas, Haliburton Highlands and in the Owen Sound area as well as locally.

International applicants must have a current Canadian work Visa to be considered for this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must have own reliable transportation to job site
- Own hand tools
- Manage a crew of 1-4 members
- Manage residential job site
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Site prep, planning, layout
- Drypack
- Install waterproof shower systems (Schluter, Wedi, Prova)
- Measure, cut, set tile for floor and wall installations
- Grouting
- Site cleanup
- Work in a manner respectful to customers and their property
- Quality workmanship
- delegate tasks to co-workers-able to effectively communicate with customers, team members and management
- able to plan /manage time and tasks effectively for seamless, timely project completion
- problem solve any issues that may arise on site

**Experience**:

- 5-Year industry experience on residential sites
- Experience with Schluter, Wedi, or similar shower systems
- Experience with installing uncoupling membranes (Schluter, Prova, or similar)
- Experience/certification in installation of electric cable and membrane heated floor systems an asset
- Industry/supplier certifications an asset

**Working Conditions**:
Full time

Typical Hours
- Monday-Friday 8:00-6:00

Weekend overtime available

Travel required, including being away from home during the week (lodging and per diem paid)

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:
