**SOURCING COORDINATOR**

Parian Logistics provides corporate shared support services and third-party logistics to a group of affiliated Canadian retailers, including Warehouse One, Ricki’s, Bootlegger, and cleo. Parian Logistics’ corporate support services include accounting and finance, logistics and distribution, sourcing, digital marketing, customer service, information technology, real estate and store construction services.

Parian Logistics is currently seeking Sourcing Coordinators to join our team in Winnipeg. Sourcing Coordinators support the sourcing and production of all styles in their assigned category to achieve the best price, quality and on time delivery of goods through partnership with our valued vendors, the buying teams in the banners and the sourcing team. Sourcing Coordinators work closely with internal and external partners to monitor the progress throughout the critical path of each style.

**What you’ll be a part of**
- Supporting the Category Sourcing Manager in compiling cost quotes, open cost sheets from vendor, securing and delivering on optimal production lead-times and to book capacity in key factories.
- Coordinating sampling and costing requests from the vendors on behalf of the four banners.
- Inspecting production samples from the vendors to ensure they meet the agreed upon requirements.
- Compiling Work-In-Progress and Critical Path updates from vendors regularly and updates the appropriate buying and technical team.
- Ensuring all stakeholders are on schedule through pro-active anticipation and taking pre-emptive steps to meet our time and action calendar deadlines.
- Collaborating with internal teams (logistics, quality control, and buying teams) to ensure vendors are delivering and shipping goods on time andefficiently.
- Coordinating vendor visits and assisting with vendor onboarding.
- Providing feedback on vendor partners and participates in discussion regarding the vendor matrix and partnership strategies.
- Supporting the business needs of ad hoc reporting, planning, and representing the department in the absence of the Category Sourcing Manager in various meetings.
- Working with the Sourcing Team to contribute actively to a common vision, cost efficiencies, vendor management, product innovations and industry best practices.
- Representing the company in a positive light to all vendors so that the company can always have the choice to work with multiple “best in class” vendors; maintaining positive sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships.
- Embodies and champions a service attitude within the Sourcing Team; supports the banners to grow in revenue and profit.
- Keeps impacted buying teams, their manager, and division heads, informed of any significant problems and concerns directly related to the department as well as broader issues that may arise.

**What you bring**
- One or more years of administrative experience
- Strong relationship building skills
- Advanced ability to collaborate and work with cross functional teams
- Understanding of negotiation principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently
- Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Post-secondary education in supply chain management, purchasing is an asset
- Experience in a sourcing or purchasing focused role is an asset
- Experience working within a clothing retail organization is an asset
