Dental Office Manager

**As an Office Manager you are responsible for**:
- Lead daily clinical operations, demonstrating versatility, flexibility, excellent communication skills and collaboration ;
- Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, tact and diplomacy at all times;
- Ensure that the clinical team is trained and complies with office policies and procedures;
- Understand and ensure that the clinic adheres to provincial regulations, standards of practice and policies relating to the dental profession;
- Train and delegate tasks appropriately;
- Act with autonomy and discretion, while respecting the supervision of the Regional Manager and Vice President of Operations;
- Understand and use appropriate levels of communication with team, Regional Manager, VP of Operations and various head office departments;
- Act as the point of contact for the compliance team to ensure that the office adheres to all health and safety, provincial regulatory and other best practices;
- Liaise between clinical team and patients;
- Prepare and send weekly/monthly reports to Director of Regional Operations or VP of Clinical Operations;
- Manage and approve clinical employee schedules and timesheets (electronic) on a bi-weekly basis for the payroll team;
- Prepare and submit supplier dentist reports to the Finance Department, as requested;
- Responsible for efficient patient flow and scheduling that optimizes provider time;
- Monitor monthly production, cash receipts and practice growth;
- Oversee patient care coordination, patient scheduling and management, and staff scheduling and management;
- Meet and exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives;
- Motivate, coach and empower the practice team to deliver exceptional patient service;
- Facilitate team meetings in a positive manner;
- Act as office administrator and treatment coordinator as required (extra help as needed or during vacations or sick leave, for example).
- Stimulate the flow of new patients by implementing internal marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing department;
- Actively seek opportunities to improve practice performance and growth;
- Manage human resources functions at the clinic level in consultation with the human resources team, including: recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, terminations, employee relations, performance reviews, and health and safety compliance ;
- Lead and complete special projects as directed by the Director of Regional Operations or Vice President of Clinical Operations;
- Assume other related responsibilities as required.
