**Child and Youth Worker**

**(Two Positions)**

(Full-time Contract from July 4, 2023 to August 25, 2023)

Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a national non-profit organization, based in the Greater Toronto Area. CCS aims to empower immigrants and refugees of all religions, ethnicities, countries of origin, immigration status, sexual orientation, or political affiliation to develop the skills and acquire the necessary knowledge to settle, integrate and succeed in Canada.

Newcomers need linguistically-appropriate assistance and culturally-sensitive support and CCS delivers programs and services in thirty languages to address these gaps, assisting clients to confidently navigate the labour market, school and health care systems.

**What you'll get to do**:

- Work with other Summer Program Staff to Conduct Outreach and register children for the Summer Program at CCS.
- Prepare pre and post-evaluations and surveys for the parents, participants and the program.

**What you need to know/have**:

- Knowledge of newcomer needs and cultural differences
- Strong computer skills including MS Office: including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc and On-Line Learning platforms
- Experience working with children
- Good communication skills

**Location**: Toronto

**Hours**: 35 per week

**Compensation**: $15.50 per hour
