In compliance with the current Agreement between the Greater Essex County District School Board and C.U.P.E. 1348, the following temporary job vacancy posting is provided.

**Job Summary**:
**LOCATION**:Administration Building - Program Department

**POSITION**:Program Secretary - Temporary

**HOURS OF WORK**:35 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

**START DATE**:July 1, 2023

**END DATE**:June 30, 2024

**RATE OF PAY**:$31.85 - $33.44 (Band 4)

**Nature & Scope of Position**:**
- Performs varied secretarial/clerical tasks as assigned by Superintendent of Program and Professional Learning, inclusive of support to Program Department staff with specific lead responsibility for identified duties and/or tasks.
- Demonstrate a commitment to and documented success in working to create a fair, inclusive, anti-racist environment for all stakeholders, and to supporting diverse constituencies and populations.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of a 2-year community college diploma in Secretarial Administration/Science.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a secretarial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong organizational skills.
- The ability to articulate and receive/present ideas effectively in oral and written form.
