**This is an UNPAID Summer Camp Volunteer position.**

Shafi Education is looking for responsible, enthusiastic and outgoing Camp Volunteers for our summer camp. The Camp Volunteers act as leaders and assist camp staff in providing participants with a fun and safe camp experience.

**Requirements**:

- High energy, self-starter
- A keen interest in summer camps (Outdoors and Indoors)
- Experience working with kids in a camp or educational setting
- Excellent people skills and a friendly, responsible, service-oriented attitude
- Up-to-date certifications in First Aid & CPR-C
- Up-to-date Criminal Record Check
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong computer skills, able to enter data accurately and efficiently.
- Available to work Mon-Fri between the hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM

**Other Assets**
- Experience working in a camp environment
- An academic background in education (ie. working towards B.Ed)

**Duties**
- Involvement in supervising camp programs
- Assist with planning and implementing camp programs
- Assist with responding to parent questions and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
- Submit weekly reports on camp performance to the director
- Tracking attendance on the lists provided (sign in/sign out sheets)
- Ensure programs and activities run on schedule
- Learn and teach assigned camp curriculum and weekly camp themes as needed
- Acting as ambassadors for Shafi Education during our field trips
- Complete other duties as assigned

**This is an UNPAID Summer Camp Volunteer position, Ideal for anyone looking to gain experience working with kids, looking to do placement or co-op.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship / Co-op

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L7A 2K7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
