**Job Summary**
We are seeking six dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as a volunteer with Diabetes Canada for the Dynacare4Diabetes event on November 27th at Brampton Islamic Centre, 6 Lowry Dr, Brampton, ON L7A 1C4 from 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our mission to raise awareness about diabetes and promote community health. Volunteers will engage in various activities, including registration, event set up, attendee support, and CANRISK testing questionnaires.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with event registration and attendee check-in processes
- Greet attendees
- Set up event materials and booths prior to the event
- Provide information to attendees about the event and Diabetes Canada's mission
- Assist in conducting CANRISK testing and questionnaires with attendees and guide them through the process
- Engage with other staff members and volunteers at the event, providing support and assistance where needed
- Engage with attendees, answering inquires and directing them to the appropriate staff for further assistance
- Offer general support during the event, including answering questions and providing assistance to ensure smooth operations
- Support event clean-up

**Skills**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other staff and volunteers
- Detailed-oriented with the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Ability to make meaningful connections with attendees and team members
- Positive attitude and a passion for supporting health initiatives
