Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

- Personal Care: Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules. Monitor and report any changes in medication needs or side effects.
- Companionship and Emotional Support: Engage in meaningful conversations, actively listen, and provide emotional support to clients. Foster a positive and supportive environment.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including tidying up clients' living areas and laundry and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Assist with mobility and transfers: Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Proficient in safe lifting techniques and experienced with overhead lifts.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client care, including daily activities, medication administration, and any changes in health status. Report concerns, incidents, or significant observations to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professionals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, admins, healthcare professionals, and other members of the caregiving team.
- Comply with Regulations and Policies: Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to client care, privacy, confidentiality, and occupational health and safety.

- Cultural Sensitivity: Respects and appreciates cultural diversity and is sensitive to the unique values, beliefs, and practices of clients from different backgrounds—desire to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
