- Relief Child Care Educator**Position Summary**
- Are you looking for _casual on call work? _As a **Relief Childcare Educator**, you will support the daily care and education of children in a childcare setting. You will step in during the absence of regular staff, ensuring that the children receive consistent, high-quality care and education.

The hourly rate for this position is starting at $18.95 per hour. In addition to the regular wage, your certification level will determine the wage top up from the government grant.

- Red Deer Polytechnic Children’s Program is looking for:

- Values the importance of play, both inside and out
- The Relief Educator helps support the holistic development and supervision of children when primary Educators are not available

**Required Qualifications**
- Infant/Child First Aid
- Clean Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Record Check
- Minimum Child Care Level 1 Educator, Day Care Qualification Certificate
- **Flexibility**: Ability to work on short notice and adapt to different childcare environments
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent play skills, and energetic

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Level 2 or 3 Child Care Educator certification.
- Completion of a 1-year college certificate, or one year university equivalency.
- WHMIS
- Food Handlers Certificate
