**A day in the life**:

- Conducting socio-economic assessments as part of environmental impact assessments for projects and developments in infrastructure, power and renewable energy, mining, oil & gas;
- Researching secondary socio-economic data, and conducting field work to collect primary qualitative and quantitative data;
- Analysing and reporting on results of socio-economic research;
- Interacting with clients and regulators;
- Engaging with Indigenous nations, stakeholders and the public;
- Developing socio-economic management planning for projects to meet regulatory and corporate requirements and best practice;
- Providing support for other Golder services including land and marine use assessments, health impact assessments, management plan development, and social compliance and due diligence reviews;
- Working collaboratively with a range of technical teams and specialists;
- Contributing to business and technical objectives of a multi-disciplinary team environment within environmental assessment and related technical groups;
- Contributing to proposal preparation, technical presentations and publications.

**What you'll bring to WSP...**:

- A university degree (graduate degree preferred) in a social science or natural resource management, or other relevant program;
- Demonstrated social science research skills and experience (e.g., use of government statistics, surveys, interviews, focus groups), including design and implementation of research programs and logistics, and health and safety protocols;
