- PHSA has a dedicated Indigenous Recruitment & Employee Experience team - our Sanya’k̓ula Team provides support and builds community for Indigenous employees through such events and services as our Communities of Practice, careers services including resume and interview support, Indigenous Employee Network, a weekly coffee chat and more. **This position manages a team of Business Analysts among other duties.**

**Specific Portfolio’s**:

- practice centralized internal recruitment service.
- Leadership Development Provides leadership, expert advice and counsel on full-scope leadership development initiatives. Manages a team that includes facilitators, instructors, and course developers. Defines, develops and facilitates a comprehensive organization learning strategy and related plans to meet organization priorities; and creates standards related to assessment, curriculum design, implementation and evaluation. Develops and drives a leadership development approach that identifies and prepares leadership for current and future organizational needs to develop organizational capacity and excellence in the areas of leadership development and competency. Conducts needs analysis using a variety of inputs including leaders to identify skill and learning gaps and recommend solutions. Actively participates in workshop facilitation and development initiatives as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field supplemented by seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressively more senior experience including a minimum of three (3) years at a leadership level.
- Demonstrates the LEADS competencies, excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate, negotiate, and influence others to achieve resolution. Ability to supervise and lead staff. Ability to establish courses of action for self and other that are results oriented. Commitment to the value of continuous learning. Demonstrates leadership competencies including facilitating team effectiveness and team members’ professional development. Ability to respond to the need of stakeholders supported by an acute awareness of impact of actions. Ability to create and execute relevant strategic human resource plans. Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Ability to problem-solve with a global perspective in order to incorporate the organizations’ systems and strategies when developing viable solutions to problems. Ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff. Ability to use related equipment including HR information systems, word processing, spreadsheet, database and internet tools.

- Supports team members on their learning journey, ensuring education strategy for team/department to implement Indigenous Cultural Safety at a practical level.
- Works collaboratively with appropriate Indigenous teams/departments to ensure ICS lens applied holistically.
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
