ENMAX is seeking a Technical Lead to work within the Digital Experience Team portfolio. They will oversee the technology solutions within the portfolio, provide recommendations on solution design and provide leadership to the team on industry technology trends.

Major responsibilities:
- Routinely advise programmers on coding, design, and testing/debugging standards- Understand and help refine un-stated requirements- Routinely deal with and resolve difficult technical issues- Be responsible for the quality of deliverables- Evaluate and introduce new tools and techniques to the development team- Manage technical issues and the work of other developers- Act as liaison with various groups including architecture, vendors, and other project teams- Assume technical leadership role on projects as needed- Conduct regular code reviews- Proactively identify areas for improvement, seek solutions and make recommendations- Lead initiatives & acts as a change agent (embraces change and helps other to embrace it)- Provide mentorship to development team

Education required:
- Post-secondary degree or technical diploma in Computer Science or a related field

Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in software development- Extensive experience with design patterns- Working with and supporting Cloud Technologies (Azure)- Ability to forward-think and provide innovative recommendations based on industry best practice and trends- Ability to mentor and lead team members in the journey to the cloud-
- Working experience with various development languages (primarily C#,.NET, and related technologies)-
- Contribute to detailed project plans to define project scope, cost, and timeline- Working experience with agile software practices, including Azure DevOps pipelines- Experience delivering software within iterative or agile development teams (Scrum)- Full stack development experience considered an asset-

**Salary**: Programmer Analyst Level D (CUPE 2023 rates)

$116,488.74 - $123,769.28 - $131,049.83 - $138,330.37 - $145,610.92

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
