**What You’ll Do**:
**You’ll act with integrity to**:

- Work with Assembly staff to conduct reviews of business and information processes, providing detailed reports, guidance and training on the best practices and legislated obligations applicable to the Assembly in records management, information governance, privacy and open data.
- Use the Assembly’s classification schemes, retention schedules and other policies to inform records transfer and destruction.
- Implement and evolve organization-wide records and data governance programs based on Ontario government standards and practices.
- Contribute to freedom of information (FOI) access requests.

**You’ll support our collaboration as you**:

- Support the development of an information management culture by providing advice and training related to records management, protection of privacy, data analysis, and the use of related tools.
- Work with records liaisons assisting in the delivery of the records management program and develop positive relationships with the Assembly’s branches.
- Communicate with the Archives of Ontario and the Records Centre regarding administration issues including reconciling invoices.
- Contribute to the design and development of digital records management in a Microsoft office and cloud environment.

**How You Qualify**:
**You demonstrate excellence through your**:

- University degree in information management, computer science or similar field of study.
- Knowledge of information management principles including Ontario legislation related to privacy.
- Familiarity with Archives of Ontario practices and procedures related to records management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a strong customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to organize work, balance priorities, and multi-task.
- Experience with Office productivity tools and software; with Microsoft-based document management platforms including SharePoint.

The Office of the Assembly is currently in a flexible workplace pilot program. The program permits employees in certain positions to work up to a maximum of 2 days per week for some of their regular scheduled hours from a mutually agreed upon location away from the office without compromising the efficiency and effectiveness of the Office of the Assembly business or overall service delivery. Employees that are able to participate in the program understand and agree that they must be available, when requested, to be onsite as required and, as such, are required to maintain proximity within commuting distance in Ontario from the Assembly’s formal place of business at the Legislative Precinct in Toronto, Ontario. Employees may be required to return to work in the Legislative Precinct full-time as deemed by the Assembly.
