**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Oversee the daily shop operations and supervise Technicians to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently within the dealership standards.
- Responsible for assigning work and schedule to Technicians/ Apprentices.
- Assist Service Manager with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Provide training and support for development to Technicians/Apprentices while staying updated on new technologies and repair techniques.
- Coordinate the workflow of vehicles ensuring the efficient use of resources and timely completion of repairs.
- Monitor the quality of repair work and conduct routine inspections and audits.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining Health and Safety practices throughout the shop while also ensuring that all employees/staff are following the policies in place.
- Responsible for diagnosing vehicle issues and performing test drives with customers as required.
- Ensure the Shop is clean and organized.
- Reviewing records of customer comebacks, including repair orders, service reports, and customer feedback to identify trends and recurring issues.
- Regularly check the shop’s equipment and tools to ensure that it is in a good working condition and meet safety standards.

**ABOUT YOU**
- At least 2 years of Shop Foreman experience or another relevant supervisory role. _Individuals who have worked in a dealership is preferred._
- A technical/automotive technical background is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and able to navigate through the company’s system.
- Ability to lead, train, supervise, and manage a team.
- You have a valid Driver’s license and provide a Driver’s Abstract.
- Ability to carefully and safely drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items and equipment such as tires, tools and other equipment.
- You have a growth mindset and are continuously innovating and developing your skills.
