**This position can be based out of any of our three offices in Mississauga, Pickering, or Stoney Creek and will be a mix of in-office and work from home.**

**As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in**:

- Providing technical GIS support on a variety of projects to support various service lines, including geotechnical investigations, instrumentation & monitoring, hydrogeology, rural servicing, contaminated lands, and ecology
- Preparation of Technical Maps and Figures to support a variety of project types
- Assisting with the creation, conversion and management of various mapping, graphic, and tabular data for internal and external projects
- Communications with clients and other EnVision team members to assist with the development and execution of work
- Fostering an atmosphere of continuous improvement
- Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment
- Supporting Health & Safety programs
- Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects
- Any other functions assigned as part of your employment
- A diploma / degree in GIS or demonstrated work experience in the field of GIS
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Online, and a working knowledge of GIS, software packages
- Knowledge of CAD software would be an asset
- A strong understanding of cartographic principles and the ability to effectively communicate complex data on a map
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
- Ability to work from home when required and from the office (following Public Health guidance) when required
- Ability to, or progression towards, working independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
