Heavy Duty Equipment Operators Needed in Lacombe

**Requirements**:

- **A minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience as a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator - Operating**
**Dozer, Excavator & Grader**
- Ability to operate a grader in a safe manner
- Ability to work safely and stay alert to surroundings at all times
- Able to finish gravel and other surfaces within sub-centimeter tolerances would be an
asset
- Experience with GPS machine control and survey equipment considered an asset
- Experience with other construction equipment considered an asset
- Able to cut grade against concrete, grade stakes, asphalt and other jobsite structures
- Familiar with working in close proximity to ground personnel
- Demonstrate an understanding of grades and interpret plans and drawings
- Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Perform routine cleaning to ensure smooth operation on assigned equipment
- Advise Supervisor & Operations Officer of any issues or repairs required on assigned equipment
- Assist crew with all other site activities as required
- Physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete assigned duties
- Ability to withstand working outside, on uneven ground for long periods of time and in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Minimum valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and reliable transportation

Following instructions given by a supervisor or equipment operator to complete assigned tasks.

Daily inspection of tools and equipment as well as working safely through all assigned tasks.
