**HOME EVERY NIGHT**

**Recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Technician / Heavy Duty Mechanic / Service Truck Mechanic**
- **3rd and 4th year apprentices with the right experience will be considered**:

- Flexible hours - 5/8 **OR **4/10 hour shifts
- Tool/Boot Allowance

- 3 weeks paid vacation upon hiring
- Service Truck position possible

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- Work on a large variety of trucks, trailers, equipment and medium/light vehicles, i.e. 5 ton cab over trucks, tandem delivery trucks, tri-axle flat decks, fuel haulers, skidsteers, loaders, dozers, excavators, etc.
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of problems and faults with a high degree of quality, reliability and consistency
- Read and work from a variety of troubleshooting manuals and diagrams
- Enter detailed and accurate maintenance reports on computerized service program
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve quality of repairs, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment, adhering to all relevant safety guidelines and protocols.

**Key Qualifications**
- **Proficiency in electrical and emissions diagnostics**:

- Ability to work independently and solve problems on own, follow diagnostic procedures and use experience/troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems. Come up with creative solutions when needed
- Ability to stay organized in a fast paced environment
- Experience using computer programs to read codes and perform diagnostics tests as required
- Consistent attention to detail/high quality of work standards
- Positive attitude, ability to fit into a family run shop
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license, Class 3 with air is an asset.

**Salary**: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
