**Role Responsibilities**:

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Process payroll and monitor time clock/ employee punches
- Prepare financial statements
- Conduct account analysis and reconcile accounts as needed
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation
- Utilize accounting software to record transactions and generate financial reports
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and resolve any discrepancies
- All other duties assigned by the Lead Bookkeeper or Management

**Essential Skills**:

- Demonstrate exceptional confidentiality and privacy regarding all accounting activities
- Superb verbal and written skills to communicate with all levels of organization, including the executive team
- Excellent company-customer communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Able to learn concepts quickly
- High level of knowledge with Microsoft Office, including high proficiency in Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to work both independently and as a team

**Job Requirements**:

- 5+ years experience as a Bookkeeper
- Post-Secondary Education in a related field required
- QuickBooks experience is required
- Inventory experience is considered an asset
- Experience working with foreign currency

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
