**About this opportunity**

We’re seeking a Corporate Event Specialist - someone who is passionate about creating elevated client experiences for both virtual and in-person events. Must be strong project manager with experience developing/managing critical paths and organizing multi-dimensional events. Creative thinker who demonstrates innovative approaches to problem solving and ability to effectively execute on plans.

**In this role, you will**
- Plan and execute all our conferences, tradeshows and events: event concepts, sponsorships, planning, communication and logistics
- Be responsible for developing project scope, tracking and post-event reports
- Create promotional marketing assets to support events
- Create integrated recruitment and registration processes including client communication strategies
- Work with cross-functional groups to deliver on event goals and objectives
- Execute virtual events in the host/producer role
- Source vendors and coordinate all logistics as required for events
- Act as the communication lead for all events
- Coordinate and organize speakers, exhibitors, teams, attendees, and sponsor
- Leverage knowledge of web design, marketing automation tools and social media to elevate customer experience
- Budget management
- Measure ROI of all events
- Other responsibilities as required

**In this role, you’ll need **
- 4+ years in a relevant Events position with experience in live and virtual events
- Post-secondary education in Marketing or Events preferred
- Proven background in negotiation, partnerships, and budget management
- Strong knowledge in web-based event management and registration tools
- Strong leadership, initiative and communications skill
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong prioritization and organization skills, solutions based
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other event technology platforms
- Goal oriented at an individual and team level
- Bilingualism an asset (French & English)
- Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours as required (evenings, weekends)
- Flexibility to travel as required
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
