As our Human Resources Administrator, you will display a 50/50 mix of friendliness and detailed organization abilities. This role will prepare, execute, and follow up with different human resources documents. You will assist employees and Owner Operators with issues that arise, work with managers to facilitate employee onboarding and training, and generate, post, and screen applicants as needed. This role will be the lead for our Joint Health and Safety Committee and our Social Committee. You will serve as the company's Employee Relations expert and work to ensure our strong family-like corporate culture continues to flourish.

**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;**
- You will have the opportunity to support operations in 2 different provinces: Ontario, and Alberta.
- Juggle 100 balls daily; keeping track of them all, and without supervision be able to prioritize which one is handled first, and ensure all T's are crossed and I's are dotted.
- Act as a resource and provide all level of employees and independent owner operators with timely, sensitive, and pragmatic advice as required.
- Liason and maintain a solid relationship with suppliers, including benefit providers, and employment agencies.
- Oversee, coordinate, and provide reporting for corporate initiatives such as training and development, performance management, WSIB, and benefits.
- Oversee, manage, and complete day to day HR related responsibilities including but not limited to; job postings, screenings, compiling and filing paperwork/documentation, keeping HRIS (Collage) up to date, internal training and development, health and safety, ensuring legislation compliance.
- Keep internal company documents, policies, handbook up to date and current.
- Ensure compliance with WCB/WSIB requirements and administration.
- Work with Payroll to oversee and manage payroll process including benefits administration and accurate time off tracking.
- Prepare and post internal employee communications via Teams, Sharepoint, and Collage.
- Participate as a leader member on both our JHSC and Social Committee.
- Be available outside of regular business hours as required.

**Qualifications**
- University or college degree.
- Minimum 2 years of human resources experience.
- Experience working effectively and accurately with mínimal supervisor/guidance.
- Recruiting and hiring experience for all levels of an organization including independent owner operators.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience in an organization with 200+ people.
- Experience working with Independent Owner Operators and/or truck drivers.
- Experience maintaining policies and procedures.
- Strong documentation and investigative skills.
- Familiarity with Payworks and using an HRIS (Collage) is an asset.
- Must have a vehicle and be able and willing to visit other office/operation locations from time to time.
- Efficient with Office 365, including Teams, Sharepoint, plus proficient in word, excel, powerpoint, and adobe.
